Island children from 5 to 12 years old, parents, grandparents, aunts, friends and island adults are invited to audition for this fall’s SJCT family theatre production: Oh No! Granny's Got the Remote! A Holiday Musical.
Auditions for children will be held Tuesday, September 13 at 3:00 pm in the Friday Harbor Elementary School Gym. Adults may audition on Sunday, September 18 at 2:00 pm. (Adults should be prepared to sing).
Oh No! Granny's Got the Remote! A Holiday Musical was written by Penelope Haskew and Teddy Deane and tells the story of Granny and her magical remote, bringing the lessons of the holiday season to life. Haskew and Deane also collaborated in last fall’s very popular Stars Lore: A Mythological Musical.
Some 50 children and 11 adults will be cast in this family theatre production. The play will be presented on the Whittier stage November 18-20.
