Make a Donation in Memory of a Friend/Family Member:
Many San Juan Community Theatre members and patrons choose to remember a loved one with the uniquely enduring tribute of a bequest to the performing arts. This is a very personal memorial and one that recalls the lives of those who have gone before us in a positive gift that we accept with special thanks. Names of those recognized appear in the Playbill and the bequest itself will support any program you choose if you prefer a specific Theatre program to a general gift.

Janice Peterson, past President of the Board of Trustees, has given her permission to include her words about memorials:
My mother, Hazel Lindsay, lived the last two years of her life on San Juan Island, and one of her greatest pleasures was attending performances at the San Juan Community Theatre. She always had special seating for her wheelchair at the back of the Whittier Theatre and a front row seat in the Gubelman. For months after The Gin Game, Mama talked about the attention she received from one of the actors who came up to her after the performance and told her that she reminded him of his own mother and enjoyed watching her all through the play. For Mama, SJCT was perfect fun – an escape from the infirmities of age into the dream world of the performing arts. It was my pleasure to offer a memorial gift in her honor and with appreciation to this amazing community treasure.
