A collaborative playwriting journey mixing climate science and theater, culminating in the creation of a 10-minute play presented in the Gubelman Theatre September 7 -10.

As a component of the Original Works Project, the Young Playwrights for Change program offers high school students a chance to create, write and perform in a 10-minute play centered around the theme of climate change.

This workshop will be dynamic, physical and focused on using the tools of theater to tell a unique and exciting story.  Students will be constantly on their feet, playing in the physical space and generating ideas through movement, dance, music, etc.  We will use this combination of devised theater activities, physical games and traditional playwriting exercises to generate our script.
