Dear SJCT Community,
I love our SJCT mission statement: Enriching Community Through Performing Arts! Community happens on so many levels. Community is created among the performers and crews that work so hard to entertain us, and community is found as we all attend performances together. I am experiencing a profound loss as I miss all the beautiful music performed by friends and neighbors in San Juan Singers and Melodious Notes, and oh, how I miss seeing those Middle School kids who always amaze us with their wonderful dramatic performances! Just as much, I miss the our time together as we greet one another in the lobby. We are indeed a rich community and now we are doing the necessary act of caring for one another by keeping our distance.
Like many of you, I have grave concerns for the health of our community and those I love. I have to admit that as Chair of Development for our SJCT Board of Trustees, I now have another concern. The cancellation of all these events is a significant loss of revenue for our Theatre. Over these last few days, I have heard public service announcements on my favorite classical music station, and seen others of a similar nature popping up everywhere. They are suggesting that patrons consider turning in purchased tickets as a donation rather than asking for a refund in support of your local arts organizations. What a great idea!  If the shows are rescheduled, your tickets will be moved. But if not, please consider returning your tickets as a donation.
Tickets purchased with cash can be donated back at the box office.
Tickets purchased with credit card or check can be donated by calling the box office at 360-378-3210 or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
And, if you are simply looking to support San Juan Community Theatre, donations can be made online at any time:
Thank you for your support of our local Theatre during this time.
