Synopsis:
Join us on a journey to an enchanted garden where this story takes place. A princess seeks to find the mythical golden apple tree hidden deep in the forest. Upon finding the tree within Kastchei's (the evil sorcerer) enchanted garden with her scouts, she is visited by a magical bird creature, the Firebird.  Although the princess would like to capture and keep the Firebird, she soon realizes that she cannot keep her forever and must let her remain free. For sparing her freedom, the Firebird presents the princess with one of her bright red feathers, which will summon the Firebird when she needs help in time of peril. Meanwhile, in an enchanted palace resides the sorcerer Kastchei, with his captured creatures and cursed maidens. The cursed maidens leave the palace at night and dance in the garden with the golden apples.  The princess befriends them, but they must go back to the palace before daybreak.  Kastchei finds the Princess in his enchanted garden, and they duel it out. The princess is almost captured when she pulls out the bright red feather that summons the Firebird to her rescue.  The Firebird entrances Kastchei and tells the princess where a golden egg is kept, with Kastchei's immortal soul.  The egg is cracked, freeing everyone under Kastchei's spell and putting the sorcerer into a deep sleep for all eternity. Kastchei's enchanted world disintegrates before your eyes as its creatures and cursed maidens become human again to begin the next chapter of their lives.
