Melodious Notes Over the Harbor

San Juan’s premiere chamber music ensemble, Melodious Notes Over the Harbor, returns for its 15th year and has a unique and diverse program with "one of a kind” chamber music selections.

These pieces are performed by our amazing and incredibly talented Northwest musicians who have been together as a group since 2017. Our musicians come from Bellingham, Oak Harbor, and of course, Friday Harbor, led by clarinetist and director Sue Collado. 

This year’s concert has beautiful and delightful pieces such as “Lullabies and Crooked Dances” by Anne Cawrse; “Pathetique” Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven; Woodwind Quintet by Nicolai Rimsky Korsakov; Concerto for 3 Violins by J.S. Bach and Overture to “Candide” by Leonard Bernstein.

This concert is a spectacular island treasure and should not be missed!
